Import and export emails in Outlook.

1. Import your email (EML & MSG)

  • Click on the email folder you want to import to your emails.
  • Click the right mouse button and then click on import files and then Import EML (File) / MSG(File) in the drop-down menu.
  • Once the Select EML File window opens, select the email you want and click Open.
  • Once the import is completed, you can see the imported email in your email folder.

2. Import your email folder (EML & MSG)

  • Click on the email folder you want to import to your emails.
  • Click the right mouse button and then click on import files and then Import EML (Folder) / MSG(Folder) in the drop-down menu.

3. Export your email (EML, MSG, PDF & DOCX)

  • Open your emails and click on the Export File drop-down menu.
  • Choose the file format you want to export.
  • Select the location for saving your file and then click save.
  • Once the completion pop-up window opens, you can find the exported file in the location you set.


Export Multiple Emails


  • If you’re trying to export multiple emails, press the Ctrl key on the keyboard and then select the emails you want to export.
  • Then click the right mouse button and then click on the Export file.
  • Click Export EML file and then type your file name and then click save.
  • Once the completion pop-up window opens, you can find the exported files in the location you set.

4. Export your email folder (EML, MSG, PDF & DOCX)

  • Go to the email folder you want to export and then click the right mouse button.
  • Click on the Export File to export your folder.
  • Click the export file format you want.
  • When the new window opens, type the file name you want and click Save.
  • Once the export is completed, you can find the zip file in the location you chose.
