Error message (0x800CCC80) everytime I try to "send an email"
Have you encountered the following error while using outlook?
Outlook Error 0x800CCC80
"Your email account - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC80): 'None of the authentication methods supported by this client are supported by your server.'
Error Cause:
When you are trying to send an email and see the above error message, it means that the SMTP server has not been authenticated (incorrect) account settings.
How to Solve:
Recover your account information or check the authentication of your outgoing mail server. If you are using a business account, contact the person in charge of the mail server to confirm that your account setup has been performed correctly.
Run Control Panel.
You can change to View by Large Icons to display the Mail icon.
Click Mail (Microsoft Outlook).
Click Email Accounts.
Click the account that is causing the issue, then click Change
If a pop-up window appears, click More Settings at the bottom right.
In the Internet Email Settings window, click the Advanced Tab.
Fill in the correct SMTP server values, and then click OK.
